Tazapay Canada Corp. operates under the Rupee Drawing Arrangement (“RDA”) framework regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”).
The RDA enables Non-Resident Indians (“NRIs”) to remit funds to India through recognised foreign agents. Under this arrangement, Tazapay Canada Corp. acts as an overseas principal, and the remittances collected in foreign currency are processed through authorised banking channels, and the equivalent amount is credited in Indian Rupees (INR) to the beneficiary's account. This activity is governed by the Payment and Settlement Systems Act 2007 and the Money Transfer Service Scheme (“MTSS”) guidelines issued by the RBI.
